Lunch With Friends!
This morning we had a great sermon at church. The sermon was about the importance of building strong relationships with other Christians. In doing so, we are helping each other and glorifying God all at the same time. Today we are having lunch with my friend Hiami and her family. They are a sweet Ethiopian family that live in our town and we are so blessed to have them in our lives! Jim and I have not tried Ethiopian food yet...so, we are really looking forward to it. She makes her own injera with flour from Ethiopia! I am hoping that Davin and Delton will at least try everything. Looking forward to good food and great fellowship!

Several years ago we began feeling led by God to pursue adoption for our third child. We began our journey knowing nothing about adoption...where to begin, who to talk to, how this would all unfold. After much prayer and several years of research we now find ourselves with a daughter who waits for us in Ethiopia. It is so exciting how God has connected us with our third child. We can't wait to share her with you soon. Come...follow us on our Journey to Nyah!

Scripture for Waiting...
Phil. 4:6-7 is a good passage for handling the waiting period that we are in…”6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
